I had heard from others that when they got it and read it that it was just an okay book. I had purchased this on pre-order when because I am a Twilight fan & wanted to read it & add it to my collection.   This was a longer read via audiobook & since I already knew the main storyline it was fun to hear it from the author's mind to see what she envisioned for him to feel.  During this I also decided to watch the Twilight Movie.  And seeing some of the scenes, it made it better in the long run.  So any Twilight fans, I would recommend this one to add to your collection.

This had a fun feel to this book as a medieval fairy tale.  It tells of the story of a servant girl who must pretend to be her lady. She doesn't want to do it, but she is guilted into it to keep the rest of her family safe. But while she tries to keep in the background, circumstances change that and she has caught the eye and heart of the margrave. But when he finds out, will he forgive her?

I started reading this one after I got a copy from my local library, but with being a busy Mom, it took time to find time to read it. But once it became available on audiobook, I knew I would listen to it a lot faster.  I really like novels by Kate Quinn.  I enjoy the character development & trying to figure out how the story will go. Each time I am surprised on how it ends up. I would give this book 5 stars. 

Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty , Caroline Lee (Narrator)

Big Little Lies is a brilliant take on ex-husbands and second wives, mothers and daughters, schoolyard scandal, and the dangerous little lies we tell ourselves just to survive.

This book caught my eye because it had a murder mystery in and I had read another book by this author, which I enjoyed.   This book had more characters to keep track of, which made it hard at times, but overall it was well written and it had the murder scene & then went back in time to see the events leading up the murder & after it.  I didn't guess who it was until that part of the story was revealed. Great read. 

Forget Me Not by Ellie Terry

This was a fast paced book, but kept my attention. I liked how it was from the perspectives of both the main characters & how they saw things during the time period of the book. Great book on overcoming obstacles and making new friendships and falling in love.

This was a great story.  It took a little time to figure out the characters and how they all related to each other, but it kept me captivated & I wanted to see how it would turn out.  I love learning about the effect Caroline Ferriday had on the world, especially during such a time as WWI.
